Soccer

Jersey finished her Spring season of soccer. She did really well, she made more of an effort than she did in her previous season. She loved wearing orange and being a tiger. She was on a team made up of the kids from the same school that she goes to. I didn't plan it but she was on the same team as one of her best friends, Jack. {Jack just moved back from living in a foreign land.} Jers and Jack just had an instant bond now that he came back. It was a great surprise that they both ended up on the same team. Jersey also made more friends with kids that were on her team that she probably wouldn't have because there are so many kids and everyone is on a different track that it is hard to meet all the kids at school. Her coach was a very patient man. I'm very grateful that he could help Jers grow her soccer skills.

Phoenix and Jack's sister Jane were the cheering squad. I wanted to sign Phe up for soccer but he told me he didn't want to. But after watching Jers this season he is ready to play in the fall.

I guess I will truly become the "soccer Mom"
