Wedding

Yesterday Mike and I had the opportunity to go to a family friends wedding. It was beautiful. I have never gone to the SLC temple for a wedding. So it was a new experience. We had a good time. It was nice to hear the things the sealer said to remember what our own wedding experience was like. The day Mike and I got married seems like such a blurr.

I mean to say that the things that were said it's hard to remember because I was nervous, scared and happy all at the same time. One thing I thought the sealer said was pretty funny. He told the couple to kiss and then he relied a story how another couple that he sealed a few weeks ago didn't kiss over the alter. Mike pinched me, that is what I did. We didn't kiss over the alter. I don't know what my reasoning was. It's not very valid now but when we got married I think my reason was I didn't want anyone to see. But as soon as we walked out of the temple we kissed so it was a funny reason. Again I think I was just so nervous that is the first thing that popped into my head.

After the wedding we went to lunch with Mike's parents. Wow, it was relaxing to go to eat without kids. I don't think that Mike and I spend enough time with each other because when we are alone we are so tired. Then we went to the reception. We were going to be there early but we slept to long after we got home. Jersey and Phoenix needed the much needed rest. We got there and a fun time watching the bride and groom cut the cake. We also boogied down on the dance floor. I married a dancer but he refuses to dance? Phoenix and Jersey got really into it along with my nieces they were pretty funny dancing too.
