Cheesy

So I know that this is totally cheesy but every year I think about how Mike and I met and the moments that lead up to us getting married. Mike says I shouldn't make a big deal of those moments only the day we got married. But I don't care. So today is 6 years from the time Mike proposed to me. It doesn't feel like six years. The funny thing is that it is the exact day that he proposed. It was a Friday and I just arrived up here from Mesa driving all night with my friends. I met up with my mom and we got dressed in the McDonald's parking lot and ate breakfast. Then we went wedding dress shopping having no idea of Mike's intentions but we thought if we are her in Utah we might as well. After trying on six dresses I found the one I wanted. So we bought it. Then we drove up to Salt Lake to see Mike at his work. He was working at the Huntsman center at the time. That is up at the University of Utah. He and I drove to our hotel. It was cute because he was dressing in nice slacks and shirt and tie. I kept thinking why are dressed up? What are we doing tonight? I knew that we were going to his mission reunion but I didn't think we had to be fancy. So I got ready, he and I drove up to Ensign peak. There is a really cool LDS church up there. It over looks the city we had been here before and as we were walking a across the parking lot this old lady yelled out of her car "I hope she says yes" I was like what is she talking about? We didn't make up to the top like Mike wanted before he proposed. I know that I'm acting like a total romantic. I just love remembering that day. We were so young and now it's just funny how things have change. Change is good right? Ok so enough of my blubbering.
