Melody

After school on Thursdays Jersey was participating in singing group called Melody. She is a great singer and hearing her sing about the nifty fifty United States was a joy. 

Her performance was last Thursday and we went. She did great. She is a funny girl because she told us that she had to wear a red shirt because they were singing the UTAH song. But I knew she was to wear a black shirt like all the other kids. We were running behind on our schedule so she wore the red shirt and everyone else was in black. What a silly girl. She still sang her heart out even though she was placed in the corner at the bottom so you could barely see her. 

I'm glad that she loves to sing, has a good singing voices and isn't afraid to take chances and sing in front of a bunch of people. 

Tulips

I wrote about my daffodils but I also planted tulips for the first time. They are blooming right now. I think they look just as beautiful.

After work today I met up with my MIL at Jordan Landing. We did a little look shopping, until we got to TJ MAXX. That place is bad. I can always find something that I have to have. SO who got suckered? Yeah that is right Grandma and Mom. Liz bought Jersey some new shoes to go with her "wedding girl" dress and I found this cute cowgirl hat. The hat has a tiara stitched into it. I could think was she will look great at the rodeo this year! She loves so that is all that matters, right?
