meeting a new cousin

We took the family down to Provo to see Megan, Adam and of course the new baby. Phe, I think thought he would be able to play with him and the baby would be running around wanting to play with his toys. Well we all know that is not the case with 2 week old babies. But Phe did have a good time holding him except for when he was crying. Jersey didn't want to hold the baby because of her arm at the time. But she also enjoyed watching and looking at him. 

one month

Four weeks ago, my sister had her baby boy. I got to be there to witness the little miracle. What an amazing chance and opportunity for me. Of course I have never been on supportive side of having a baby but it was quite a different side. Lending support, telling her she is doing a good job and crying with her. 

I arrived at the hospital, thinking that I would be there all night so I brought reinforcements all the best things. Snacks for Adam, gossip magazines for Megan and a movie. Plus some water. But there was no time for those things because she told that she was at 10 and they were coming into break her water. She was so fast. I thought I was fast with my deliveries but she must have set a world record or something. 

After the baby was born, I got to watch as they weighed him, gave him a shot and I got to wipe him off. I got to see all these things for the first time too. Since my children were early and taken to the NICU right away after they were born. I loved it. He was so precious to watch and hold. YES! I got to be the first, after his parents, to hold him. He was so tiny and light.
