Skiing and more Skiing.

There are some advantages of having a husband working at ski resort. We don't ski much during the "real" winter season. But we love spring skiing. We get some great snow and there aren't that many people on the slopes. Plus the benefit is Mike gets a discount for us, the fam.
During the month of March, Mike was really busy at work. On his day off he would have to go up to work. He took Phe a few times with him. Phe spent his day at the Snowbird kids camp and then when Mike finished up with work he would take Phe skiing. Phe was AWESOME! By the end he was skiing on his own.
At the beginning of this month on April fool's Day we received snow not only at home but in the mountains as well. From April first through the 7th Snowbird received 7 ft in 7 days. 7 FEET! amazing.
We took the opportunity during Spring Break to enjoy the time as a family and hit the slopes. Jers
was showing us all up by doing some jumps. Phe was skiing on his own. He would ride up the lift with Mike because I was ready to try getting off the lift with him. After much whining on Phe's part we tried it were Phe rode the ski lift with me. Well, when it was time for him and I to get off the lift I did because Mike said that Phe could get off on his own, but he didn't. His eyes got all big, like what are you doing to me, The lift operator stop the lift just in time to get him off. He was already around the lift to head down. After that we were okay. I still fell off the lift trying to assist him. It's not easy when one person snowboards(me) and the little kid ski. Now the kids and I can go skiing when Mike is working.
