Around here we like to drag out things whether it be Christmas, Valentine's day or Birthdays they are usually month long or week long celebrations. Sunday we had our family birthday party for Phe. Grandma and Grandpa came first bring there bag full of presents. Phe was so excited he could hardly stand it. We were waiting for the others to come and Phe eyes were getting bigger and bigger just waiting. When he finally got to open his presents he was so excited he was shaking. He was such a nice boy about his presents. He told everyone thank you. Grandma spoiled him and so did his Aunts.
One of his presents was a light saber. He plays with his cousin Miles's all the time so I told Miles's mom to get one for Phe. After everyone left Phe and Mike had a fight Mike with the little pirate sword and Phe with light saber. It was pretty hilarious but Phe started swinging it hard at Mike, I'm pretty sure that Mike has a welt on his leg from the whack he received. 
Another cool gift was from Mike's other sister, or should I say brother-in-law. They gave Phe a race track. The track does a loop Dee loop. Phe was playing with his toys into the night last night with all his new toys the kid is in heaven.
I attempted to make a checker flag cake for Phe for his birthday. He wanted a car cake but when I saw how much a Lighting McQueen cake mold was I thought there must be another way. I haven't owned my own cake decorating stuff. So I found a little starter kit and thought I would test my skills. It's a good thing that I wasn't being judge for my cake though it was delicious the checker flag part wasn't the greatest I shouldn't even say that. Though the cake had black and white squares the it wasn't in the right pattern I messed up. After making the first black square I was continuing on forgetting that I needed to 
space them I didn't so we ended up with some tetris design. Phe couldn't really tell. So an "A" for effort. The funny thing was that because I made black frosting it was coloring everyone's teeth and mouth black.

I can't believe your babies growing up. His is the cutest boy I have every seen. Happy late Birthday. I have not seen you in so long. I will have to talk to you sometime at worrk.
