Utah Blaze

On Saturday night I went with the kids and Mike's parents to the Utah Blaze game. I love arena football for the people watching time you get. Can I just say amazing. There were so many characters. The Blaze played the Chicago Rush(for those that keep up with arena football)

Instead of driving downtown we took traxs. That was also fun to people watch on the train. Phoenix was so excited, he thought he was riding on Thomas the train. I let him believe that he was. Jersey was just a smiley kid and all the old people on the train thought it was cute. I would watch them watching her and talking about her smile. She smiled the whole time. One couple that we sat with on the train was so cute. They were from England but they had lived in Utah for over 40 years. They still had their thick accents. It was so cute to hear them talk to each other and to see how cute they were on the train together, holding hands and just plain cute. I hope Mike and I are like that when we are 80 years old.

Back to the game, It was exciting to cheer for them because they won. We didn't stay for the whole game though. I thought Jersey would like something like that but she didn't. The kids were really scared. We sat in the nosebleed section or as Liz called it "near the gods" section. I thought that was funny. So our seats were pretty high up. Before the start of the game the Blaze skanky dancers performed during their performance there was fire and fireworks shooting out of the rafters. That totally freaked Jersey out. She isn't one to be scared by fireworks but I think being so high and it being loud she was freaked out. She told me "Mom I don't like loud I just like soft" I thought that was funny because she can be so loud sometimes. After half time we left and rose trax again home. It's good to get the kids exposed to different forms of entertainment. I'm glad that we went.

I like Phoenix's haircut. It makes him look so much older.
