New Morning routine

Today marks our first attempt to exercise. Mike and I are very lazy people, just when it comes to diet and exercise. Growing up I never had to worry about my weight but after having a few children and getting older, I have packed on a few unwanted pounds. I can't do it alone so I have enlisted my husband to help me lose some weight. I will be honest he has packed on some sympathy weight these last few years as well.
We have been talking about walking every morning since the weather has been increasing warmer. Granted it's still cold but it's not snowing. So today was the day. After hitting the snooze button a few times. We got out of bed walked around the houses on our block 3 times and got back in time for Mike to get ready for work. It was so simple but because I don't do anything for exercise I am already feeling that my body was pushed to the limit. How sad really?
I hope that we keep the practice up. I want to get myself in shape. I know I have a long way to go.

i started walking again about a month ago (although i never had snow as an excuse to stop, i just did :)) and i don't really notice a difference until i go do something active and i realize i'm not dying from something simple. little by little, it makes a difference!

woo! way to go rhiannon. i've been trying to exercise more lately too. it always sucks convincing yourself to get out there and do it, but you feel good afterwards!
