Once in a Blue Moon

There are few times where Mike has to work at night and will spend the day with us. Friday was one of those days. We had to take him to the DR. because he had hurt his knee playing in a soccer game the Wednesday before. While we were waiting I took a few pictures of the kids. After waiting for what seemed like 20 minutes Mike was done. The dr. said that he had just sprained the knee and so walk it off.

After the DR. office we took the kids to Wheeler Farm. It is a cute place that has all kinds of farm animals. Phoenix refused to wear his shoes there. We would be walking all together and I would look back to see Phoenix and there was his shoes on the ground and he was running to chase after us. Jersey was so excited to see the horses.

There were also some pigs, they were oinking alot. I am such a city girl it was weird to hear "real" live pigs oinking. I guess that is why they have this big farm in the middle of the city so kids and adults can remember what "real" farm animals are like.
