Not to brag

I don't really like to brag that I live in Utah. Sometimes it is nice to live here. I should be over the sigma of living in Utah since I have lived here (6 years) but growing up I vowed that I wouldn't live in Utah. Who knew? There are somethings that I love about Utah. First and for most is the Mountains. Granted the mountains in AZ are beautiful but there is just something about waking up in the morning and seeing the big beautiful mountains out my front door. I love to see them when they are snow capped. I just wish the snow would stay there in the mountains. The second thing that I love about UT. is that we are so close to Temple Square. I know it sounds weird but when I was little my parents would always take us to Temple Square (they still do to this day) but the fact that you can see the church sites whenever you want is kind of nice. There is also something so strange but nice to hear Church related news on the local T.V. station. Today was President Faust's funeral it was broad casted on all the local stations. I thought how cool. I watched the funeral and was so impressed by President Faust dedication to his wife and family. He truly loved the gospel and you could tell all that spoke about him loved him very much. I was so touched to see President Hinckley. As Mike always says "we live in Zion!" :)

I just have to say that I am so jealous - I want to live there so bad! Seriously, we have tried to make it work to move there so many times, I have lost count. I LOVe it there & wish we could live there, but something is keeping us here in HOT Arizona. Someday we will move up there, even if we are really old, and we will be your neighbor & go to all of the church sites whenever we want. :D

I agree with April; I am jealous, and I too will live there some day. I think it sounds so wonderful to be able to see church events on regular TV. We don't even get the BYU channel here anymore! :o)
