Parties are my favorite

I try to do parties for my children every other year on their even birthdays. 

Since Phoenix turned 6 we had a party. I asked him what kind of party that he wanted. 

He is obsessed with Harry Potter not only Harry Potter but Lego Harry Potter.

I was able to find some awesome deals on Ebay for Legos that are Harry Potter. 

I also found some great websites that talked about Harry Potter parties. We of course couldn't go as big as the ones online, but we went pretty big. I got out some of Halloween costumes and decor. I found a Hogwarts banner, a Hedwig, a Harry Potter costume, that came with a wand and glasses. We got a tie and scarf. We also made some chocolate frogs, found some gross gummy bugs, worms and rats. Along with some Bertie Botts every flavor bean. We made dragon eggs and had broom relay races. The boys had a lot of fun. On Sunday some still had their Harry Potter scars on their forehead at church. 

It's a good thing that we will only do parties ever other year since it all starts to add up. We (Mike and I) had a fun time putting together all the Legos together. Mike glued them together so that they could stay intact. The kids haven't stopped playing with them.
