For Memorial day weekend, we had a house full of people. Megan and Adam were blessing their baby, for the celebration my parents were able to be here, my grandparents, my aunt Susan, Dallin, Stacey, Camden, Lauren and Grandma Connie (she stayed with her brother) Everyone was here at my house. We had a good time with everyone here.
Phoenix was loving that Great Grandpa was here. He didn't want to leave his side. One of the afternoons we went shopping at Robert's. Phoenix was so made that we were leaving and GG was leaving too. He was screaming at me. He was crying so much that he fell asleep. When we got to the store GG said "I will watch him" Phoenix woke up and was so excited to see GG. Grandpa would sit and draw cool pictures for Phoenix. When Grandpa Gary came he was the same way. He didn't want to leave his side.
We had a great time going shopping, eating good food and having great conversations. Sunday we went to Provo so witness the blessing. Sitting in the meeting reminded me of the days that we were in school, living is student housing and being in a ward that was so silent. After the blessing we had a luncheon with not only my side of the family but all of Adam's side too. We were all worried that there would be to much food but it was gone.
On Monday, Memorial day, we went downtown. We went to the new Desert Book store. Amazing. You could spend hours in there. Don't worry we did. The kids of course were spoiled rotten. It's defiantly a must see and something to do when you are in downtown SLC. We also walked around Temple Square. It was really nice to see the beautiful flowers and feel the great spirit that is around Temple Square. Also on display they have a very cool exhibit in the South visitor center. It is a diorama of the SLC Temple and it's open on the side to give you a view of what goes on in the temple. The kids were amazed. My dad had a chance to tell some people about what everything was since they were asking lots of questions. Again a must see downtown.
After Dallin and fam left, Lauren, GG Baker and Aunt Susan were gone. I had my parents all to myself. It was fun to spend time with them and the kids were eating up their time with them. We took my parents out to Leatherby's ice cream shop to celebrate my mom's birthday. We had so much ice cream.
My parents original plan was to leave on Friday and drive down to AZ. But they decided to stay one more day. I was excited since the kids had a soccer game on that Saturday. My Dad came to the game and the kids were happy about that.
Thanks to all those that came. I enjoyed every moment that you were here. We can't let it be that long anymore. Good thing we are going to Snowflake so we can see all of you.

Thanks for letting me crash at your house. It was fun. I will see you in a few weeks in Snowflake. BTW can you send me the big group pictures? I apparently didn't take any pictures that day! Bummer. Love ya!
