It's soccer time

The children are playing soccer this season. Both are doing well. Jersey hurt her arm before the first game so she couldn't play. After she got her cast on she was playing and having a good time. She is in an older division where they have goalies and learn a little bit more about defense and offense. She does good, but tends to lose focus when the ball is coming her way. Now that her cast is off I hope that she will be more aggressive with the ball and focus on the game. 

This is Phoenix's first year in playing soccer. He wasn't going to end up playing because there weren't enough volunteers for coaches. When Mike went to the soccer meeting he signed up to be Phoenix's coach. There are 12 people on the team. Mike has his hands full with all the kids but he is so calm during the game and focused on who is coming out and going in. Not only is it fun to watch Phe run for the ball and get goals but it's fun to watch Mike as well.

{Last week Phe got a goal so he got a dollar, for the goal. Jers is looking forward to getting a goal herself so she can get a dollar.}
