a day off, a sunbeam and a take down

There are not to many Saturdays that Mike is off to spend with the family. He took Saturday off to go to a Young Men's activity and the kids had a Primary Activity. After all the mornings activities the kids were excited for the new year in Primary.
We kept the family rolling by making a stop at Mike's favorite store Home Depot. Phoenix was upset because he thought we were going to Lowe's. Mike had dreams of working on the basement but those were shattered because I had him home I wanted him to help me with the take down of Christmas decorations. What a feat. I didn't think that I had that much stuff. It was truly amazing when we were putting everything away we rearranged the storage room and realized we had more room than we did before. So there was a place for everything.
Then today we Phoenix went to Sharing time and Primary today. Good-bye Nursery. I wanted to walk with him but Jersey and Phoenix had run off to the Primary room. I know it's not that big of a deal but for me it was a sad moment. I know that he will do great just like Jersey but it just means Phoenix is getting a little bigger. I think I need to toughen up some more because these little milestones scare me. Next thing I know he will be pass sacrament or going on a mission. So I will cherish every cuddle and snuggle and milestone.
