Weather

I have to remember living here in UT the weather can change within a day. For instance, the last 3 days have been great. Yes, they still have been cold enough for a sweatshirt but they have been nice to where the sun is shining and I'm getting a sunburn on my face.
This morning we woke up to this.......SNOW!!!! Seriously I thought they said it would be in the mountains not my backyard. There is at least 2 inches on the ground.
Yesterday the kids and I spent our whole day outside. It was nice. Overcast and a little windy nothing to keep us indoors. We walked two miles to Mike's parents house. We crossed the field that separates us. We were going there to get my bike. Jersey rode her bike the whole way. She was quite tired afterwards. I was guaranteeing myself that my kids were going to take a nap, when we got home but that wasn't the case. They played some more. They love dirt so I thought while they are busy I will attend to my neglected flower garden and grass. I raked up the dead grass and pulled weeds. I'm so feeling the pain today. A two mile walk and the gardening. I'm pretty sure I have got my exercise in for the week.
Sometimes is just drives me nuts that it can be perfect one day and crappy the next. Oh well, I guess the earth needed it. Here is to a fun filled day of watching movies because I'm not venturing out in the cold.
