Dentist

Yesterday I went to the Dentist for my annual cleaning. Yes, I know you should go every six months but with teeth like mine I go once a year. I haven't had a cavity in like oh I don't 9 years! It's funny because they cleaned my teeth, the dentist came in said "open wide" and next thing I knew he was done. Yay for healthy teeth. Some may wonder (MIKE) how I can be blessed with such healthy teeth. I one like to thank my parents for instilling in me that dental hygiene was of great importance, two my dentist when I was growing up made it fun to be there, plus all the cool adjustable birthstone rings I collected and three my teeth for their hardwork no matter how much candy I eat in one day. I think that is the kicker for Mike, I eat and eat candy. I seriously have some for my year supply. But no cavities. I don't know what the deal is but I'm excited not to have to worry about my pearly whites as much as Mike does.

I can't wait for him to go to the Dentist that will be blog post for sure. He has the worst mouth that I have ever met. I don't mean potty mouth. I blame the Dentist that scarred him for life when he was younger. I am looking forward to the root canals and fillings Mike will be receiving this time around at the Dentist. Mike is a Dentist's dream. I'm sure our Dentist will be able to get that new boat that he has always wanted after he is done with Mike's mouth.

Next week I'm taking Jersey to the Dentist for the first time. I know I'm horrible that she hasn't seen him sooner. I didn't want to freak her out though. Because she will be starting school soon I thought it was a perfect time to get her acquainted with the Dentist. She can't wait she is already talking about it. I hope that attitude is still a happy one after she is sees him.

The reason she keeps talking about it, is because I took Phoenix with me yesterday. He didn't see the Dentist but he got a treat because he was such a good boy. He found the treasure box that the Dentist has and opened it up to find a bunch of dinosaurs. He pulled them all out and was laying on the floor making dinosaur noises while I was getting my teeth cleaned. Sorry I didn't have my camera. It was quite funny. That is why Jersey can't wait, she wants to get a treat. I'm sure she will have a good time.

i brush twice a day, floss once a day and still get cavities. my good dental hygiene isn't enough to combat my HORRIBLY soft teeth. oh well, one more thing to look forward to the resurrection for!!

You just have good genes. I always have been a freak about my teeth, and it doesn't matter. I just told Damon tonight I think I need another root canal. I have had 9 root canals and 8 crowns. Every time I have a baby another tooth goes down. It is soooo in my genes. You have no idea how lucky you are. Scout already has soft teeth the dentist said. So, sad.

I think it's genetics, because I haven't had a cavity since I was 5 years old. And the dental hygiene habits can't hurt either! Congrats on the healthy teeth!
