WOW! What an amazing man? I'm so glad that I'm a member of this church and I know it is true. He was an amazing Prophet and President of our church.
I remember when he came to Regional Conference at the ASU basketball arena. My parents were in the choir and we were standing in line waiting to talk to him. He was just the first counselor at the time but I remember shaking his hand and walking out of the building with him and just talking. I honestly don't remember what was said but just being with him was great.
Also when the church sustained him as our Prophet my Young Women's group took a trip to UT. We waited in line forever just to get in the Tabernacle. We unfortunately didn't get to sit inside the Tabernacle when they did the solemn assembly but we got to sit on Temple Square and listen to a Prophets voice that was my first experience going to conference and I'm so glad that my leaders took the time to take us.
Another thing that I will always remember the talk that he gave at CES fireside. That is when he talked about the 6 B's. I ate up that whole talk.
I really grateful that we have a true church on this earth. I don't know what I would do without it.

Conference trips were the best! We had so much fun! That was such a cool thing that our leaders would take us. Thanks for reminding me of the trip for when he was sustained, I had forgotten that. :)
I just watched the 6 B's talk this morning on BYU tv. Loved it. I have never loved another man as much as Damon, except President Hinckley. It was so fun to see you!!! Loved the apron too!!! You are the best!
I don't remember the ASU thing? When was that? Thanks for sharing all the memories about President Hinckley.
