I haven't been very grateful lately so I thought that I should right some things down that I'm grateful for.
1. I'm grateful for my Husband for always trying to cheer me up when I am down. I have been grumpy lately and he always manages to turn my frown upside down :)
2. Jersey and Phoenix, they are so sweet. They are great, they play so well with each other it is amazing. I can be working on something in the other room and I will hear them giggling and playing. Yesterday Jersey said she needed a snack so I said "go eat an apple" I came to find that they had eaten every apple in the bag some of the apples had mouse bites in them and some had been eaten all the way to the core. I swear I did feed them lunch.
3. My job, a friend that I work with is about to pop with being pregnant and since my job requires that you sit for a long time it's been really hard on her. I said that I would work some of her shifts. Well, her shift is at 5am in the morning. So I work her shift plus mine most days. I know I'm crazy but a little bit of me thinks that I'm earning money for shopping or is that for bills.
4. My brother and sisters, Megan, Dallin and Stacey. When I was hosting them this weekend it was nice to have them help me out. Changing bums, getting up with kids and doing my dishes. It was nice to have people help out.
5. The Gospel for the way it brings peace in my life. Sometimes I think and act like my life is hard but it really isn't. Not by a long shot. It's nice to have something to ground me and make me feel humble in times that I'm being prideful. I honestly think that when I'm being selfish it is my way of being prideful.
6. Memories, Because it was Dallin's birthday on Sunday I made him his favorite dinner and cake. I also put up baby pictures of him growing up. My mom use to do this for each of us kids when I was growing up. I always loved putting my brother and sisters pictures around the house. It was fun to open scrapbooks that I haven't opened in awhile and see the crazy stuff I use to do. I loved the times to Cali, Mexico dressing up for Halloween and for the end of the century. Looking back at those things and thinking I thought I was such a grown up but really I was so naive to a lotof things.
7. FRIENDS, that buoy my spirits when I'm feeling down and discourage. This also includes my mom and sisters. My mom is always there to listen to me vent and I don't know what I would do without her.
So enough with my grateful ramblings. I this makes me feel a lot better. Thanks for reading.
