1. Who were your best friends? I don't think I truly had a "BEST" friend in High School, I hung out with alots of people. Eddie Millyard, Owen McCray, Jamie Halls and Reed Lisonbee. We did tons together. As for a girl best friends, well I was friends with girls but I don't recall I had one specific friend for that catagory, there was Jada Lewis, Danielle Ethington, Heidi Bingham, Marquita Arrington, Delanie Sevey, Nicki Ballif, Lindsay Smith, LeeAnn Langston, Bonnie Johnson and Crystal Binch.
2. What sports did you play? I was on the dive team all three years of High School. Even though I wasn't a STAR diver, I enjoyed the swimming and diving everyday after school. After diving would be over I wasn't really good at any other sport. I did try-out for the girl's soccer team my senior year and because I couldn't run a mile in under 8 minutes I didn't move on in the try-outs. I blame asthma and not running a mile since Junior High.
3. What kind of car did you drive? I didn't have my own car in High School. When my family came back from Poland my parents didn't want to get a car. But the dream was soon dashed when we needed a car to get to school and work. We had a Dodge Dakota truck. It was a nice little truck it fit all six of us. It was a good thing we were all a little skinny. I would beg and plead to take the car to school but because my mom need it to go to work. I only got to drive to school on early release days. A-hour prevented me from taking it other times. But I always found someone to tag a-long with to lunch.
4. On Friday nights what were you doing? On weekends I would go to the football games. It was great social time. After the football games were over we usually would go to Keith Crocketts house and watch movies, play pool and be crazy. On occasion have a date but those were rare.
5.Were you a party animal? I liked to throw the parties. As for drinking parties I attended a few but I never got into that stuff. I enjoyed the parties that you hung out and played games.
6. Were you considered a flirt? I think I was. I know that a certain boy that should remain nameless spread so nasty rumors about me saying that I held the world record for kissing guys. But the truth was that I only kissed 4 guys in High School.

7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? No, I didn't do any of those things. I would have liked to been in choir but after hearing stories of the teacher I'm glad I just stuck to my other activities.
8. Were you a nerd? I'm sure I was to some people. I felt though I as I was pretty cool. I wasn't the smartest kid in school so I technically couldn't be considered a nerd.
9. Did you get suspended/ expelled? No but I got sent to Sweep alot for being tardy.
10.Can you still sing the fight song? No but I know my mom knows it she is a MHS alumni. But I know "Carry On." To this day still sing it. I love when in church we sing "Carry On" from the hymn book. I sometimes start singing MHS "Carry On" song instead.
11. Who was your favorite teacher? Wow there are so many to choose from.
First I would say Mr. Zimmerman-he taught World History to the kids that transferred to Mesa High or couldn't pass the first time (there were alot of pot heads). Now I'm good at remember history but because I lived in Poland my Freshman year I didn't have an option to take that class. SO I took it my Sophomore year. I learned a lot. To this day the things that he taught still pop in my mind.
My Second favorite was Mrs. Curtis. She was my student council advisor. She was so kind and loving to me. Everyone knew that they were her favorite. She was what a teacher should be, someone who took the time to care to for students that were less fortunate. I had the opportunity to work on several service projects with her and I loved it. It was always a pleasure to go to STU-CO first period and see her smiling face.
12. Where did you sit during lunch? I sat where ever I could get a ride to. My sophie year I would walk to Fry's with friends or Nielson's Frozen Custard. Sometimes my grandma's house because she lived right by MHS. Mostly I caught a ride where ever my guy friends were going.
13. Name the school's full name? Mesa High School
14. School mascot? Jackrabbit
15. School Colors? Purple and Gold
16. Rival High School? Mountain View and Westwood. Others wanted to rival us but they could never compete.
17. Did you go to Prom? NO! I'm still bitter about that. My friend Kathryn Knighton and I watched movies our Junior Prom and Senior I didn't go because I have no idea why? I had a boyfriend but he left on his mission, someone once said that I didn't go because no one wanted to ask me because they were afraid that he would get mad. I still think that is a lame excuse.
18.If you could go back and do it again, would you? I loved High school, but I didn't love the drama of my securities. I like who I am now. I wish though I could go back and tell my High school self different things so that I could have skipped some parts of High School drama but that won't happen anytime soon.
19. What do you remember about graduation? I remember trying to talk to all my friends about when we were going to meet up to go to Big Surf. I remember my parents were so proud that I finished. I was the start of the third generation of Mesa High graduates. It was a pretty big honor. After Big Surf I remember going to the Kimball Stake Center for a Pancake breakfast. We fell asleep outside the church house waiting for breakfast. I also remember that it was the end of an era. What Now?
20. Where did you go for Senior Skip day? I think that I had to attended that day a least for seminary because if I didn't I wouldn't have graduated from that. Afterwards my friend Heidi and I tried to go down to the Salt River where we heard alot of "cool" people would be but by the time we found them we had to turn around and go pick up my mom from work. I should have stayed at school.
21. Favorite Memory? I think my favorite memory was when I was when were having our parade for Homecoming and riding on the float. No my favorite memory was going to Yuma for diving. It was just fun to ride on a big bus and get sick from the buffet we went to afterwards.
22. Were you in any clubs? Yes, I was in DARE, Purple Pride, and Student Council.
23. Where did you go most often for lunch? If I wasn't leaving campus it was the student store.
24. Have you gain some weight since then? Yes, and it is truly horrible. I might have reconsider children if I had know that I would keep most of the weight. (JOKE)
25. Who was you Senior Prom Date? The couch I didn't get asked to go.
26. Are you planning on going to your 10-year reunion? No I am going to my cousins wedding, unless I win the lottery and become filthy rich where I can quit my job because really that is the only other way.
27. Who was your home room teacher? What is that? I don't remember that unless you count 8th grade.
28. Who will re-post this? I did, I hope others do.
29. Who was your high school sweetheart? I guess it was Reddin Evans. We had been friends my Junior year his Senior, we were on dive team together. After swimming was over we went to Christmas formal together. Nothing really happened after that. It wasn't until the summer of my senior year did we hang out. On the way to Snowflake to Pioneer Day is when we became "Boyfriend-Girlfriend" it didn't last long. He left on his mission in January of my senior year. This is the reason that I didn't asked to Prom. I don't blame him though. I thought that it was perfect he would come home and we would get married. But I met Mike and I couldn't be happier. It is funny though, I told myself I would never marry a boy from UT and here I am. I love it.
30. Do still talk to people from high school? No, I wish I did more but that is ok. I like to catch up on peoples blogs and see how they are doing.
31. Did you win prom queen of king? No I wasn't that cool
32. Where did you work in high school? My senior year I worked at Mervyn's
33. What were your grades? They were ok but nothing to shout about. I still graduated in the 20th percentile of my class.
34. What was your dress style? Hmm, I liked vintage thrift store clothes. So wore alot of those. Baggy clothes, I like the skater look.
35. What year did you Graduate? 1997 forever the best!

Rhi- How fun to think back to the good old days- your post brought a lot of memories back. I keep in touch with a few on your list like Crystal & Linds. Ed's in my ward now too. I had Mr. Zimmerman and he was a great teacher. I checked your frame blog- those frames are way cute!
