After 4 years

The last couple of weekends Mike and I have been working on our front yard. It has been quite an eye sore for me for at least 2 years. When we first started working on our front we put a huge rock wall in the front right along the foundation. We wanted to pour cement right in front of the rock wall so we would have a place to sit and hang out in the front. Mike had dug the dirt a away from the wall so we could pour the cement. Then he left it. Well after a few winters and springs the rock wall came tumbling down. We gave up on the cement part and made the rock wall a little more stable. We also added a lower level. Thanks Mike for your hard work. Then came my part to decorate with flowers and bushes. My dream was to have a waterfall but you know that was a dream so instead I planted roses. I have always wanted roses. I also planted a burning bush, another lilac and a few perennials. I think it looks really good. It is fun to sit now on the grass and look at the great yard we created.

The two little trees you see in the picture are actually for the backyard. I haven't had time yet to plant those.
