What a trip

So we had such a great time on our trip. We rode bikes, played at the beach, Saw the San Diego temple. Had sleepless nights because we were some where different. The kids were really great on the car ride down to California. It did get hard at the very end when we were caught in traffic but it was nice to feel the warmth on our bodies. Our condo was just like I remembered it. But I always thought it was bigger. But then I remember that the last time we went to the Carlsbad Inn we were living in a one room apartment up at the U and we didn't have two kids with us. Jersey and Phoenix loved swimming we spent some time in the hotel pool. The ocean was nice to put your feet in but that was about it. Jersey and Phoenix did get hit by some waves which got them wet. Jersey loved to dig in the sand. While Phoenix would try any chance he had to take off back up the stairs to the condo. He wasn't a big fan of the sand and ocean. Mike did a little boogie boarding while I tried to catch some rays. While we were there we couldn't have asked for better weather. We took a lot of pictures.
