A gaggle of witches

I love Halloween.

Halloween has always been my favorite. The candy was always a bonus, dressing up another. Or is it because my birthday is two days later? Um, I don't know but I'm glad I can give this Halloween love to my children. I will confess I'm a junk food-aholic and candy is my weakness.

But we have a new tradition here in the Nielsen household. We go to see the WITCHES!!!!! Gardner Village has this amazing set up of Witches and they have activities for the kids and ladies.

On Saturday I planned for us to go and see the witches. Earlier on Saturday we had a Halloween party so the kids were already dressed in their costumes.
When we got home from the party we loaded up the car to go. Mike was sneaky and came home early so he came to tag along. When we got to Gardner Village it was packed. It was October break and a beautiful weekend so it was to be expected. I really wanted to get a Carmel apple but the line was crazy long. I don't do well with crowds. But I took some great pics of the kids and Jersey even joined in on a Costume parade. Mike's mom made Jersey her costume and she was a prefect little witch.

There were some professional photogs taking pics and one guy took a few of Jers. She was being such a poser.

This is some footage of the parade. Not the greatest but you get the idea.
