Mother's Day

*I want to tell my mom that she is the best! I'm so glad that she is my mom. She is always there when I need her even when it is late at night. I usually feel bad for waking her up but she will still listen to me even when she is half asleep. She is always encouraging me to be my best in whatever I am pursuing. I know that she is my number one fan! Thanks mom so much for everything. I know that she loves me and my brother and sisters and would do anything for us.

*I also have to tell my Grandmas both how much I love them. I have always looked up to them and hope someday to be just like them. Both my Grandma Connie and Grandma Baker have such sweet spirits, they are so strong. They are not only my Grandma's but my friends. I love talking to them on the phone.

*I have one other Mother. My Mother-in-Law. I just love her. She is my friend. It's nice that she is so caring to me. I love that she is always there when I need her too. She has been a big support for Mike and I. When I first met her I knew she was a great lady. She is always serving her family and others in the ward. She is always thinking of others before herself. I hope that someday I can gain those qualities.

Thanks MOMS!!! for all the hard work that you have done for me to be the person I am today.

My Mother's day was quite special. Thanks to George W. I was able to have a nice Mother's day. I was quite spoiled actually. Mike bought me a Nano Ipod. (At my new position I can listen to music. So I'm so excited for that.) He also bought me FLOWERS! Mike has never bought me live flowers since we have been married or even before. He had to work last night and when he didn't come home at the normal time, I started to worry. So I called him, I wanted to see what he was up to. I found him at Wal-mart at looking with all the other men that still need to get their wives gifts or flowers for Mother's day. So while we were talking on the phone he was trying to find out what I wanted for Mother's day. I gave out random answers because he had already bought me something I didn't know that he wanted to get me something more. Then he came across the flowers. They were 50% off. Mike was excited to say the least that he bought some. Even though the were a little brown and wilted I give him an "A" for effort. He also picked me up a nice little cover for my Ipod. AHH sweet Mike you do love me, tough guy.

Jersey gave me a flower in a pot that she had made at pre-school. I was really proud of her work. She was giving me hints all week about what she was doing at school but when I questioned what she was going to give me she said it was a secret. I love that she gets so excited about holidays (any holiday)

My sweet boy gave me a kiss and hug and an "I lub you, mom" Phoenix also help me unload the dishwasher after church. Mike asked him what he was doing and said "I help my mom"

I am so proud to be a mom and the mom of my two kids. Even though they can drive me nuts at times they always can melt my heart to make me smile. I never knew that I could have those feelings of loving someone so much until I had them.
